Jackie Head creates slipcast wall tile installations that are inspired by quilting, mosaics, and antique tiles. Amassing individual tiles on the wall that connect to construct larger patterns create environments that envelop the viewer. Jackie's work embraces the idea that as humans we have a natural inclination toward repetitive motion to sooth ourselves. The repeated patterns found in Jackie's work allow space for connection and reflection.
