Director’s Message

Thank you for visiting The Fine Art Program and Collection at Montefiore Einstein website. Founded in 2014, this innovative visual arts program is integrated into the daily life of Montefiore, fostering a life-affirming, restorative and supportive environment in service to our patients, their families, caregivers, students, faculty and the community. Our primary goal is to reduce stress and provide distractions, thereby promoting accelerated healing.

The Fine Art Program has met with great success and garnered a wealth of positive feedback. Data has shown that art makes a difference impacting stress and pain levels, thereby reducing length of stay and overall health outcomes – all good news!

As The Fine Art Program at Montefiore Einstein continues to grow, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to integrate the arts in a healthcare environment. Many new programs are in development and we look to philanthropy to support these efforts. And we invite you to share your comments and ideas.

Art humanizes the hospital experience and together we can continue to support the healing presence of fine art at Montefiore Einstein.

As part of the development of The Fine Art Program and Collection in 2014, Olivia is also spearheading the Fine Art Innovation Program incorporating virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality into patient experience alongside fine art.
