Embroidery thread and glass on paper

Natalie Ciccoricco’s mixed media works are all original, analog works that consist of embroidery thread in combination with other materials. While in college, Natalie received a large bag of embroidery thread from her mom, which came with a tin she bought at an antique store. It inspired Natalie to use it as a creative means to express herself by weaving together new narratives on paper. Natalie loves to experiment with unusual and discarded materials in combination with embroidery thread. In doing so, it is her hope to bring new life to these materials, so they can be enjoyed and appreciated once again. For her artworks, she draws inspiration from her dreams, nature, arts, literature and her travels.
